On the Caribbean Coast in northern Colombia
Santa Marta is one of the touristic cities par excellence in Colombia. It is a city on the Caribbean coast located in the department of Magdalena in the north of the country, a few meters away from Sierra Nevada. It is considered a port city of great touristic attractive, especially because it is considered the starting point for excursions to the Tayrona National Natural Park and guided excursions to the archaeological site of the Lost City (Teyuna).
